Puppetry
I  create  puppets  for  a  living.
That  will sound  extremely  monotonous  and  maybe  unsettling  to  you,  but  I  enjoy  it.  I've  had  practice  for  forty  years,  and  I've  yet  to  dissatisfy  a  customer.  Sometimes,  I  get  very  creative  requests:  “Make  him  have  a  chin  four  inches  from  his  face”  or  “Her  head  should  be  shaped  exactly  like  a  teardrop”.  Nothing  out  of  the  ordinary  for  me.
My  home  is  a  quaint  little  building  along  the  outskirts  of  town.  One  room  in  specific  is  very  cluttered  and  u

Heroes
In  the  real  world,  us  humans  don’t  need  superpowers  in  order  to  be  heroes.
We  don’t  need  super  strength,  manipulation  over  the  elements,  or  the  ability  to  fly.
Protecting  someone  in  a  time  of  danger  and  saving  their  life—for  whatever  reason—lets  people  know  that  within  tragedy  or  fear,  there’s  a  benevolent  hand  reaching  out  to  them.
Us  humans,  we  are  mortal  and  fragile.
Just  like  all  creatures  on  this  earth,  death  can  take  us  anytime  and  anywhere.

Project Seven - Chapter 7
A  man  was  kneeling  down  on  the  broken  concrete,  blindfolded.  His  hands  were  bound  together  behind  his  back.  Rope  chafed  his  skin  and  made  the  man's  wrists  burn,  but  not  as  much  as  the  tears  in  his  eyes  did.  A  piece  of  metal  that  felt  like  ice  to  his  skin  was  pressed  hard  against  the  back  of  his  skull,  waiting.
A  loaded  pistol.
The  gunman,  who  hid  behind  a  wolf's  mask,  was  taking  his  time.  He  soundlessly  pitied  and  scorned  the  man  who  refused  to  join  the  pack.

I  walked  back  to  the  booth  to  find  Alec  eating  from  a  plate  of  food  he  ordered:  bourbon-glazed  salmon.  I  was  surprised  but  pleased  to  see  my  own  food  sitting  opposite  from  him  and  still  steaming  hot.  Maybe  Alec  bribed(or  charmed)  our  waitress  not  to  serve  it  cold.  He  glanced  at  me  when  I  slid  into  my  seat,  and  swallowed  his  food  before  speaking.
“Welcome  back,”  he  said.
I  looked  down  at  my  plate,  which  was  lobster  ravioli,  and  I  felt  my  stomach  growl  like

A  brunette  occupying  the  hostess  stand  lifted  her  head  when  she  heard  us  come  in  through  the  entrance  doors.  She  blinked,  then  gave  us  a  smile.  I  almost  didn’t  notice,  but  the  muscles  in  her  thin  face  twitched  unnaturally.  Then  in  a  automated  but  cheery  voice,  the  hostess  said,  "Hi!  Welcome  to  the  Mermaid's  Tail!  My  name  is  Carrie.  How  may  I  assist  you?"
I've  only  seen  Droids  through  windows  or  on  TV,  but  never  have  I  been  so  up-close  to  one  before.  Droids  were

The  next  two  and  a  half  days  felt  horribly  slow  to  me.  Sleeping  and  drawing  took  up  most  of  my  Saturday.  The  air  felt  cloggy  since  the  summer  weather  seemed  to  kick  in  early,  so  the  humidity  was  at  a  high  level.  The  house  wasn’t  the  right  place  to  rely  on  for  air  conditioning(or  food).  So  on  Sunday,  I  decided  the  mall  was  best.  I  rode  my  skateboard  on  the  street,  but  close  enough  to  the  sidewalk  that  it  wouldn’t  be  dangerous.

The  rest  of  my  afternoon  felt  like  a  lazy  one.  I  depended  on  Jasper  to  cover  which  locations  of  the  town  Dakota  was  in  most,  so  I  had  the  free  time  to  do  whatever  I  wanted.  When  you  have  a  heavy  job  like  mine,  moments  of  freedom  during  work  hours  are  rare.
It  was  around  four  thirty  in  the  afternoon  when  I  managed  to  get  a  cup  of  coffee  with  Sonia(though  she  always  preferred  hot  chocolate).  We  were  talking  in  the  cafeteria  inside  Emerald  HQ.  Somehow  I  alwa

The  inside  of  my  house  was  dingy—the  lights  in  the  kitchen  and  living  room  would  often  flicker  on  and  off.  Ceilings  leaked  whenever  it  rained.  Mosquitoes  and  ants  easily  got  inside  since  it  was  practically  summer  now.  There  was  also  the  noticeable  stench  of  alcohol  and  old  Chinese  food.
This  house  wasn't  great,  but  it  was  better  than  having  no  house  at  all.

It's  been  four  and  a  half  hours  playing  what  I  hate  most  about  being  a  field  agent:  the  Waiting  Game.  I  drummed  my  fingers  against  the  steering  wheel  while  Have  a  Drink  on  Me  by  AC/DC  played  softly  in  the  stereo  system.  I  looked  out  the  window  of  the  passenger  seat,  glancing  at  the  small  photo  from  the  file  every  now  and  then.
"You  know  what  I  don't  like?"

Before  there's  any  confusion,  allow  me  to  say  that  this  is  not  my  own  story  to  tell.  Not  at  all.  I'm  merely  the  observer  for  everything  that  happens—it's  been  that  way  for  years.
I've  lost  count  on  how  long  it's  been.  Chances  are,  I'm  not  like  anyone  you've  ever  heard  of.  No  one  truly  notices  me  or  gives  me  a  second  glance,  but  I  don't  expect  them  to.  I  still  perceive,  hear,  and  smell  as  the  average  person  would,  but  I  feel  different.

I'm  the  type  of  person  who  takes  long  walks  in  the  town,  frequently.
I  don't  go  anywhere  in  particular  during  those  strolls;  I  just  roam  around  my  town's  area  as  freely  as  I'd  like. Eraser or Pencil?
Haven't  you  wished
you  could  erase  a  choice  you  regret?
Would  you  wipe  away  a  mistake
or  a  person  you  had  met?
Guilt  can  eat  away  at  the  mind
If  you  erased  a  certain  decision
what  answer  do  you  think  you  would  find?
To  bring  a  chance  you  missed
perhaps  it's  a  pencil  you  need!
Which  moment  would  you  take
in  which  you  might  succeed?
Think  about  what  could  happen . . .
What  events  would  take  place?
Would  it  lead  to  your  demise
or  would  you  win  the  race?
Now  consider  this:
Which  would  you  choose
to  be  your  utensil?

Sup, dood?!

I'll share a few things, since you're already on the part of this profile. I love literature--I always have since I was younger--to me, it's an expression to oneself. Poems, short stories, novels... I write stuff.

Okay. Time for fun(useless) facts about me! I'll make it seven. I like that number.

1. I love a variety of music from OSTs, alternative rock, electro swing, and chill-hop.
2. I suck at drawing. I'm not even going to attempt to post my less-than-mediocre creations of visual art.
3. Waffles are superior to pancakes...in my opinion.
4. I think sword fights are cooler/better than gun fights.
5. Puns; I love them.
6. I don't actually like coffee at all, despite my username. I had no idea what to type down...
7. I hate crows. I just do.

I won't hide the fact that I lack the motivation for most things. And I have a mix of interests, but I won't name them all on the spot since this list is pretty long already...and plus, I dun feel like it(refer to previous sentence).
I like being able to do things at my own pace, or express myself through my own thoughts and creativity.

I like critique most of the time, that way I can get better. Everyone has their own way of growing.

No problem! ^_^ And thank you for the watch! Reading the first line of that poem of yours captured my attention.
It's because I DO wonder what the stories are behind strangers that I see on the sidewalk. Very nice job!
